SIGMA ALPHA RUSH CONTRACT
Sigma Alpha is an organization that encourages its members to strive for achievement in scholarship, leadership and service while strengthening the bonds of friendship among them. The organization opposes any situation that creates or produces mental or physical discomfort, embarrassment or ridicule. Hazing in any form is not acceptable in this sorority. As a sorority member, I pledge that I will not allow myself to be hazed, participate in any type of hazing and will work to eliminate any form of hazing found within this sorority, and to uphold all other regulations and rules of Sigma Alpha and Louisiana State University. I understand that any hazing activities should be reported to the Chapter Advisor.
Sigma Alpha recognizes the effect that alcohol abuse has on society. The organization, therefore, does not condone the use of alcohol at any sorority event. As a sorority member, I pledge that I will not consume alcohol at any sorority event and I understand that any alcohol use shall be reported to the Chapter Advisor.
I, the undersigned, allow the release of my scholastic record and grades to Sigma Alpha Sorority and to the Office of Greek Affairs, Panhellenic Council throughout my membership in this organization, until I send notification stating in writing otherwise.
